A journey through sacred mountains, legendary cities and Nasrid trails

From the peaks of Sierra Nevada to the historic districts of Granada, this journey combines the best of hiking, culture and the living history of Andalusia. Over six days we will explore beautiful natural landscapes, villages with Moorish soul and monuments that have shaped the destiny of entire civilizations.

Granada welcomes us as a meeting point of cultures: the Arab legacy of the Alhambra, the Christian spirit of the Monastery of San Jerónimo, the mysteries of Sacromonte and the quiet charm of the villages of La Alpujarra. Easy and accessible hiking routes, guided visits and moments to enjoy the local gastronomy will make this trip a complete experience for body and soul.

Travel Program

Day 10 – Arrival in Granada
Departure on a direct flight to Granada. Arrival and transfer to the Hotel Macià Cóndor. In the afternoon we will enjoy a guided tour of the city of Granada to start discovering its history and unique atmosphere.

Day 11 – Alpujarra Route
We will hike through the spectacular Poqueira River Gorge, one of the most emblematic landscapes of La Alpujarra. During the day we will visit three of the most charming villages in the area: Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira, known for their traditional architecture and breathtaking views.

Day 12 – Tajos del Alhama
Hiking route through the Tajos of the Alhama River or the Cacín River, a beautiful path between gorges, Mediterranean vegetation and surprising landscapes. In the afternoon we will visit the historic town of Alhama de Granada.

Day 13 – Gollizno Route
We will follow the famous Gollizno Route, a very diverse trail combining nature, walkways, hanging bridges and historical remains. In the afternoon we will visit the spectacular village of Montefrío, considered one of the villages with the best views in Spain.

Day 14 – Cahorros de Monachil
Hiking through the famous Cahorros de Monachil, with hanging bridges, walkways and narrow gorges along the river. In the afternoon we will have two options:

• Option 1: Stay in Granada to visit the Alhambra (ticket not included; advance booking recommended).
• Option 2: Continue to the Sierra Nevada ski resort to enjoy the mountain atmosphere and snow.

Day 15 – Granada and return
Free time in Granada in the morning until departure to the airport. Return flight to Palma.

Important information

• The trip includes half board every day. Whenever possible lunch will be taken during the route; otherwise dinner will be served at the hotel or in a nearby restaurant.
• The visit to the Alhambra is not included in the price. Those who wish to visit it should purchase tickets online in advance for day 14.
