General information
In a building owned by the Archbishopric of Santiago de Compostela, ceded to the Association Camí de Santiago – Mallorca, a 2nd category hostel has been set up, intended primarily for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. The hostel is affiliated with the ACC – Acogida Cristiana en los Caminos Foundation and is managed by the Mallorcan association.
True to the spirit of ACC, the hostel has a symbolic cost of €17, similar to that of public hostels. Reservations are accepted, as in private hostels. To facilitate pilgrimage, families, parish groups and other religious entities will have priority in booking.
Breakfast: breakfast can be requested for €3. This service is available to those who need it and contributes to the maintenance of the hostel.
Opening hours: Check-in: from 1 p.m. These hours may be flexible if arranged in advance with the hostel manager.
Night closure: the door closes at 10:30 p.m.; please respect the rest of pilgrims who are already sleeping.
Check-out: until 8:00 a.m. the following day. In case of illness, injury or other justified need, the necessary flexibility will be offered: the priority will always be the well-being of the pilgrim.
The hostel does not have adequate space for bicycles. In specific cases, and only if circumstances allow, they may be accepted, but this service is not guaranteed.
Church of Santa María: The adjacent church is a place of great beauty that is well worth a visit. Access depends on the church's own opening hours, which are independent of the hostel. We invite pilgrims to take the opportunity to visit this temple whenever possible.
Pets are not accepted, out of respect for possible allergies and the well-being of all guests, as well as the lack of a suitable place to ensure the animal's well-being.
Management and spirit of hospitality: this hostel is run by ACC volunteers, who are not professional workers but people who dedicate their time in a totally altruistic way to offer service and hospitality to pilgrims. We therefore ask all guests for patience, understanding and common sense: the hospitality we offer stems from selfless service and a desire to accompany those who are walking to Santiago.
