History and Introduction to the Camino Sanabrés

The Camino Sanabrés is one of the historical routes of the Camino de Santiago, branching off from the Via de la Plata. It begins in the town of Granja de Moreruela in Zamora and crosses the beautiful Sanabria region before entering Galicia. This route offers a unique experience, blending breathtaking landscapes, a rich cultural tradition, and the hospitality of the villages along the way. Following in the footsteps of ancient pilgrims, you will ultimately reach the majestic Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

November 23.- Flight to Santiago and bus transfer

November 24.- Granja de Moreruela - Tábara (25.1 km)
